The Ask an Author page allows you to ask questions and receive a prompt reply. If you have a serious writing question, this is the place to ask it and receive a professional response.
The answers are below the submission form on this page. But please, before you ask a question, use the search box above to see if I have already posted information about your question, as I strive to only answer once.
I used to answer writing questions by email, but answering in that way allows only the person posing the question to benefit from my response. Also, on occasion, more than one person has asked the same valuable question.
I hope this page will be more efficient. You may freely ask your creative writing questions, and I will archive them here, in one convenient place, so everyone can read them.
Please give your submission a title suggestive of the question content, so others can scroll through and find questions of interest at a glance.
To get started, fill in the form below and submit your question. I will answer as many questions as I can and if you select the notification option, you will receive an email when I have responded. But please check to be sure your question hasn't already been asked. I delete prank questions and those that have already been answered.
Thank you, and all the best with your writing.
~ Pearl
